Michelle is noted for her exuberant, audience-encouraging style full of clapping, singing and dancing. She is quoted as saying, "Music is a passion. I love it so much."

A number of customers are interviewed, and state that they're quite impressed with Michelle and her partner's talented performance -- an enjoyable and unexpected treat that keeps patrons at the cafe dancing and and begging for more. The article states that as they performed, the tables filled up quickly and recounts how the cafe was packed during an earlier performance as well.

One participating patron is quoted as saying, "I just popped in for coffee. I was going to go out and do something else, but she was so good. I liked the music."

Another soon-to-be-married couple said, "This is a really, really nice surprise," And added, "We're so impressed with them, we'd like to have them at our rehearsal dinner.... We just came here to talk. This worked out beautifully."

The cafe's staff remarked that "Usually we have people come in and play guitar and folksy stuff. (Sparkle presents) the only show like this." And further went on to say "Normally on a rainy night like this, it's dead.... People don't want to go out. No one was here until they came in."
